Wood Fencing gives homeowners a sense of privacy and security with the height it provides, and it is also one of the more charming options on the market. It offers homeowners a warm and welcoming feeling without breaking the bank. Although wooden fences do require some maintenance, it is not anything more than a Saturday mornings worth of work. One thing to take note of when considering wood fencing is that the height and size of the fence will impact the price, the more lumber you need, the more expensive the project will be. On the plus side, wood fences are durable and will last. Wood fencing offers a wide variety of options because of the number of lumber types there currently is.

Along with being durable, easy to clean, vinyl fencing also comes in many different styles like picket and privacy.  Installing a vinyl fence may have a higher upfront cost, but given its low maintenance costs and longevity, vinyl fencing is cheaper than many other fencing types. If you want to maintain its attraction, wrought iron fences need to be sanded or repainted every two to three years.

Bamboo:

Bamboo fencing is starting to make some noise in the fencing market. The most notable benefit of bamboo fencing is that it is environmentally friendly. Opposed to wooden fences, which contribute to accelerated deforestation, bamboo grows back so fast, that once its harvested the forest is replenished very quickly unlike a tree that's cut down for lumber. Another environmentally friendly benefit of bamboo is the fact that it will also decrease pollution because it absorbs carbon dioxide and other harmful gases. Bamboo is an exotic and beautiful fencing option. It can be stained in colors of your personal preference, and when it ages, bamboo takes on a silvery shine that is quite elegant. Bamboo fences are long-lasting and durable; they do not require copious amounts of maintenance and care. It can also be used in a variety of climates, and it is resistant to heat, sun, rain, and snow.
